Statue for Scarlett Fever

A fellow artist asked me if I would paint up one of about a dozen statues for an art show/auction to benefit a girl named Scarlett. She is 16, and when she was about 18 months old, she was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome. I've known Scarlett and her family for a few years due to my involvement in the world of hot rods, and they are some of the nicest people.

There has been a show going on for a few years called Scarlett Fever to help raise funds to help with her medical needs. I try to donate a piece of art every year. I am honored that I was asked to do one of these.

She stands about 26" tall, and made from plaster.
I sprayed her with Krylon Fusion black. Then applied the 1-Shot for all of the other colors.
 Dry brushing.
Lots and lots of dry brushing.
Some sparkle was added on the snake.
Same kind of sparkle in the hair. On the collar too but not very visible.
And in the hearts (though not really visible in this shot)
